First of all, i'd like to say that i read all of your posts and you guys did very well!!! But there was a topic that i'd really impressed 'We ruin our culture by ourselves, don't we?". And i wanted to add my point of view on it!
Nowadays, by assisting of globalization, the whole world is changing with haste. I think, mostly, it appears as high-developed countries such as Japan or USA, create their own cultural phenomenon, then other countries "dissolve" in it!!!! For example, today, many mongolian children play playstation™ like japanese kids do. Also they're eating hamburger, drinking coke, and limitlessly watching TV . Unfortunately, either do i so, but, i strongly feel that i'm forgetting playing "shagai', eating "bantan", "airag", and reading "mongoliin nuuts tovchoo" just by doing the things refered above. I'M JUST RUINING OUR CULTURE BY MYSELF!!! :( (how shame!!!)
In my point of view, in order to save our culture from the outside world, we need more and more nationalism. We can begin it from very small things. We can buy "made in Mongolia" products, wear "deel" sometimes, or just watch national wrestling instead of sumo. We have to show and acknowledge our culture to world, not ruining!
However, we know that we can't keep pace with 21st century without considering new improvements of other cultures. In other words, our culture has a problem which is old, or maybe little bit hard to improve. But i believe that we can solve it by learning the methods from other countries' advanced culture to improve ours, not by completely copying! Wether our culture ruin or rise is depend on us. So that, we have to do our best, get the best education, gain the power, and keep existing our precious CULTURE. :)
